ESLD Mentorship Program
The ESLD Mentorship Program is a new initiative designed to bring experts and emerging talents together in an environment of collaboration and shared learning. Whether you wish to gain experience as a mentee or contribute as a mentor, this program strengthens the ESLD community through real-world training and professional exchange.

The ESLD is pleased to offer its members a highly anticipated Mentorship Program. This program allows participants to join one of the available mentors in their clinic for 1 or 3 days.
During the visit, the participant will attend patient consultations and observe various procedures performed by the mentor and/or their assistants. They will also have the opportunity to discuss with the mentor the theoretical principles behind the procedures or treatment plans offered to patients.
Two formats are available:
At the end of the program, ESLD will issue a digital certificate co-signed by the mentor.
Application Process
To apply, please write to secretariat@esld.eu with the following information:
- Full name
- Medical specialty
- Date of birth
- Postal address
- Phone number
- Email address
- A short CV with photo
- Number of years of experience with lasers and energy-based devices
- The name of the preferred mentor (see list below)
Once the application is accepted, the candidate will be required to:
- Sign the ESLD Code of Conduct (download here)
- Pay 100% of the participation fee to ESLD
Cancellation Policy
- If the mentor cancels: 100% refund to participants
- If the participant cancels:
- More than 30 days before the session: 50% refund
- Less than 30 days: No refund
Join the ESLD Mentorship Program
Do you meet the following criteria?
- Be a full ESLD member for at least five years.
- Be actively involved in ESLD activities, such as ESLD sessions, ESLD Thursdays, and the ESLD Forum.
- Have attended at least one ESLD Teaching Course.
- Have at least five years of clinical experience with each of the following laser treatments: pigmented, vascular, fractional, and hair-related treatments.
If so, you can become an ESLD Mentor!
Join the mentorship program and participate in the training of candidates.
To become an ESLD mentor, please submit the following:
- Name and short CV of the mentor, with a standard-format photo
- Clinic details:
- Name and full address
- Website
- Contact info and access details
- Maximum of 3 photos
- 30-second video presentation (optional)
- List of nearby hotels
- List of medical staff involved in the training
- List of lasers and energy-based devices available at the clinic
- List of procedures potentially observable during the 1-day and 3-day programs
- Maximum number of participants the clinic can host per session (1-day or 3-day)
