Dr Daniel Keith

Dr Daniel Keith qualified from The Queen's College, University of Oxford in 2009 and has worked as a GMC Specialist Registered Substantive Consultant Dermatologist at North Bristol NHS Trust since 2017. He specialises in dermatological surgery, skin cancer, laser and energy-based devices and paediatric laser dermatology working across 3 hospitals in Bristol - Southmead Hospital, Cossham Memorial Hospital & Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. He served as Dermatology Training Programme Director from 2023 to 2026 and is a Clinical Tutor at the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences, University of Bristol. He is the current clinical lead for dermatology, laser and paediatric laser. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (RCP), the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) and the European Academy of Dermatology & Venereology (EADV). He is a Member of the British Medical Laser Association (BMLA), the European Society for Lasers & Energy Based Devices (ESLD) and the American Society for Lasers in Medicine & Surgery (ASLMS).

 

Bristol Laser Centre at Southmead Hospital provides a regional laser service for both public and private adult patients receiving medical and cosmetic treatments. Formerly known as the Laser Centre of the South West, the service has 4 decades of experience in lasers and energy based devices. A paediatric laser service for port wine birthmarks and other vascular malformations is provided at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children for infants as young as 1 year old. Cossham Memorial Hospital has a regional photodermatology centre including Excimer and Photodynamic Therapy. 

 

We welcome visitors from all over the world to learn about laser dermatology and have recently had visitors from countries including Taiwan, Pakistan, India, Lebanon, Egypt, the United States, Poland, Brazil, Singapore, Greece and Nigeria. Bristol is a major port city in the South West of the United Kingdom with an international airport and good transport links to other major cities including a high speed rail connection to London.
