This consensus statement, derived from a Delphi study and a systematic literature review (2000–2023), provides standardized clinical guidelines for the prevention and management of complications associated with fully ablative (full-field) facial laser resurfacing. While the procedure offers superior efficacy for photodamage and rhytides compared to fractional modalities, the significant risk of infection, dyschromia, and scarring necessitates meticulous perioperative protocols.
